Skiier Rodeo 540 Step Up by tahoe-sushi Skiier Rodeo 540 Step Up by tahoe-sushi
Another shot from my recent Mammoth trip series. This shot took a LOT of effort! Its not from a stationary camera, I was actually panning this shot the whole way through with my ultrawide.

Unknown skiier doing a Rodeo 540 over the step up in the Unbound Terrain Park.

What I did: 9 vertical shot auto panoramic with geometric distortion correction off (keeps ultrawide shots from being stitched with a crazy arch/bow in them), a quick mask of every shot of the skiier that wasn't included in the resultant pano, color selection of blue around the individual skiiers so I could remove all the surrounding blue that didn't match the pano blue), removed lens flairs (they were pointing the wrong way for this shot; ie not to the center of the shot), touched up the contrast and vibrance a tad, and finally unsharp mask (150, 0.2, 0)

Yea. It's not the easiest jump to take pictures of close up, unfortunately. The air seems smaller far from the takeoff, but you can't get the landing from it. A shot from a distance isn't good because the chairlifts are all around this thing. Oh well, next time I'll shoot it better =D
